Well, I thought it would be nice to start a total saber request thread. I'm wanting a saber that looks sorta like this. . Well if you can make a saber like that, email me usmarine_09@hotmail.com. Thanks.  P.S. First post.

im going to attempt it.. it doesnt look hard at all.. but the saber blade is making it hard to see what it looks like at the tip of the saber.. i think those are little fangs.. but not sure..  do you have another pic without the blade?

OK fw33bs, i requested this saber on the previous forum, and i was kinda ignored...

Anyways, i need a saber like this..... shouldnt be hard for someone like Doughnut (im a great fan of your sabers!).

**** dude im sorry.. i promised that saber to you like 2 months ago.. i got stuck in the middle of moving and never finished it.. i found the old model i was doing for it too..  i ddnt like it so i remodeled it...  actually...  2 times.. when i finished it the 1st time tonight.. my computer reset itself just as i saved.. so the whole file was corrupt!!!  Gdamnt!


so.. i promised it.. and here it is.. finally LOL check the files section..

BTW. Are your sabers compatible with SP? AFAIR, they weren't. I actually like the SP and would be cool if i could play with your sabers :)

in single player while playing


open your console (shift ~)


type /helpusobi 1


if you want single saber


type /saber stranger


if you want duel sabers


type /saber stranger stranger

I wouldnt have anything agaisnt making it more shiny, like the katarn hilt :]

Besides that, it could be a bit longer. Also, the name in menu is bad, as it should be 'the Stranger' not 'The Stranger' :)

But these are small things, everything is perfect besides them :D Thank you Doughnut ;) BTW. If you need more ideas/concepts for sabers just ask me

longer?  wow.. i matched it up with a few other sabers on the game and it seemed about proper height.. i thought it was too thick at first but i came to the realization that it was about the same thickness as the other original sabers. as for the shinyness.. sorry bout that LOL  the pic itself looked as if the saber was supposed to be a dull metal,,  but i got a dead on texture for the black area (despite the fact you cant really see it in game anyways but it really is there!) 


i was debating on the capital T inthe name i wasnt sure if thats the way you wanted it.. but if you want i can send you a modified version

It's no problem, I've been idle for awhile so havent been here lately. But I'm sorry I don't have any other pictures of it...  Just out of curiosity, have you started? Is it finished? if not thats fine, take your time if you want.

thanks darth. I know I just got a saber, but I'm makin this request for my friend. He is looking for a saber with the mouth of the snake where the saber comes out. If you can he would like fangs on it. for the ending part he would like the tail of a rattlesnake. then the body he would like... you guessed it, a snakes body.  He would prefer it look gold, but it really doesn't matter to him.  If you could do that for him, he'd really appreciate it. He would of requested it himself, but his internet isnt working right now.

as decent of a modeler as i am... im pretty horrible when it comes to advanced modeling. :(   so a snakes head from my hands would suck! LOL


ill give it a try.. but i may not be able to do it.. (it pains me to say that!! It really does!!!) 


i failed miserably on a skull that i tried doing once 


if it wasnt for the actuall head of the snake.. the rest would be easy.. matter of fact i had something very simular in mind a little while ago.. 


it had to metal blades at the end kind hooked slightly and straight forward.  the body was curvy and covered in scales and the back end of it actually looked like a rattlers tail..

Has anyone considered making a Force Pike like Jabba's skiff guards used or Vibro Axe like the Gamorrean Guards weilded? These weapons could be excellent melee weapons.

but which of the 2 smaller axes did you want modeled?  the one that looks like a typical axe?  or the cooler curved one?

sorry stranger...   yes. i dont mind at all if you put it with your skin.. sorry i didnt see this post sooner! :(


BTW...  sorry all about not updating recently..  i have a few in modeling...  i just finished off captain cloggs rapier.. ill be making a mini saber (working name)


as well as the sith sword.. vibro axe.. and if i get to it.. the toxic avenger mop and weird al saber... 


KOD has a killer saber too (excalibur) which will be added in the next update..


its a shame i cant get online to play..  but im sure nobodys playing my massive map anyways LOL (total jedi war) ahhh those were the days.. actually.. to those who dont know.. i released 2 maps..  both which im proud of..  total jedi war being my first trek into maping..  its not very detailed.. but i believe it was the first map out there to use many modes of transportation in order to play CTF (jetpack, mini ties, swoop bikes, atsts)


and my 2nd map which im more proud of is a duel map.. called darth doughnuts lava duel..    just thought id bring forth the knowledge of past to the present..


BTW.. what the hell is up with jk2files?  i thought they caught up on all the backlog ???  i sent my master noulus and darth cereleus sabers in almost a month ago.. and STILL nothing on there??? 


thats the only reason i dont post any of my sabers there.. it takes forever to get them up.. i want D. Cer up there cause i feel its my best work and i wanna see the reaction of some people out there! 


(nice comments fuel my sabermaking!!! LOL)
