Also take a look at the shader and sab files from the melee mod. The melee mod has a torch as a weapon that you can get an idea from.

I maybe dumb but I could not fig out the shader editer, soo i'll just do the look up the code form other peoples stuff and use it in my own way. :P

You said the melee mod had a "flameing" sword? is it this one: http://jk2files.com/file.info?ID=20913 ??? i could not find a flaming sword ???

I also don't want to just retexture the saber blade to make it look like fire I want to use the fire form like the torches and all. This will be soo cool if i can get it done. :P

hehe i found it it was the torch :P i will mess with the efx and sab files and see how i can get them to do waht i want :P

i finnaly got the saber working, i'm going to reskin the sword and mess with the fire efx, i'm going to try to make it less intence. I used bits form the Torch from the melee mod, ill send it in the this site as soon as i can get it 100%, right now the fire efx is kinda to much and cuses the game to freaze or crash.
